With ‘Singham’ & ‘Singham 2’, Ajay Devgn plays an important part in director Rohit Shetty’s cop-universe.
Ajay has made a cameo as Bajirao Singham in Rohit’s recently-released film ‘Sooryavanshi’.
Now, the latest buzz is that Rohit is planning to expand his cop universe with ‘Singham 3’. Reportedly, it will be Ajay Devgn vs Jackie Shroff, where the cop goes to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir to “trace down the head of terror outfits, who have an eye to destroy India from the world map.”
If this Pinkvilla report is to be believed, the cop drama is apparently set against the backdrop of the troubled Indo-Pak relationship and is expected to go on floors by the end of next year.
“It’s among the most patriotic films that Rohit and Ajay are collaborating on, as it is set against the backdrop of turbulent Indo-Pak relationship. The premise has Kashmir in its backdrop, and it’s a story special to all the stakeholders,” a source informed the portal.
Singham 3 Release Date:
Given the plot and vibe of the movie, ‘Singham 3’ makers will reportedly release the movie in theatres during the Independence Day 2023 weekend, as per the Pinkvilla report.
While there is no official confirmation yet, Rohit & Ajay are expected to make an official announcement soon.
