His book ‘The Immortals of Meluha’ is being adapted into a web series and will be directed by Shekhar Kapur of Mr India and Bandit Queen fame.
As per reports, global entertainment studio International Art Machine led by Roy Price has acquired the rights of the Shiva Trilogy book series.
Suparn S Varma (dialogue writer of The Family Man) is collaborating with Shekhar Kapur on this project as the showrunner and director.
The cast of the Shiva trilogy series adaptation is still under wraps. Further details are eagerly awaited.
For the unversed, Karan Johar had also planned on making a MOVIE on the ‘The Immortals of Meluha’. Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan’s names were floated as the frontrunners for the project. But the film adaptation never took off.
