Lyricist-writer Manoj Muntashir had received flak from the audience for certain dialogues in Adipurush. He allegedly requested police protection after receiving death threats.
Now, as per recent reports, Adipurush director Om Raut too is being provided security by the Mumbai Police. He had also been receiving death threats.
“Four constables and one-armed cop are seen with Om Raut at his office. It is, however, not known if the director requested police protection or whether the police, themselves, provided protection due to the controversy and threats,” a source revealed.
Meanwhile, reacting to the public sentiments, the makers changed certain dialogues that were attracting the ire of the audience. In spite of heavy criticism, Adipurush has crossed 395 crores at the global box office!
