The wait is finally over! Ranveer Singh has officially been announced as the New Don in Farhan Akhtar‘s Don 3! The stylish title announcement video showed off a suave, badass Ranveer. And so, a new era begins with Singh replacing Shah Rukh Khan in the iconic role.

“We hope that you will show him the love you have so graciously and generously shown to Mr Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. A new era of Don begins in 2025,” Farhan had previously stated.
The Ranveer Singh starrer Don 3 has been produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, who has also contributed to writing and directing it. Farhan shares the story credits with Pushkar and Gayatri. The music will be handled by Shankar Ehsaan Loy with lyrics by Javed Akhtar.

Don 2, which released in 2011, was a blockbuster hit…. raking in a whopping 203 crore collection! The 1st part of SRK’s Don (2006) had crossed 106 crores at the box office.
