The Shahenshah of Bollywood – Amitabh Bachchan – is celebrating his 81st birthday today (11 October 2023) and we wish him the best!

On this special occasion, we bring you a list of upcoming projects starring Big B, Take a look –

1) Ganapath

Ganapath; Big B upcoming movies

Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in the sci-fi actioner, Ganapath: A Hero Is Born.Starring Tiger Shroff & Kriti Sanon in the lead, the film is directed by Vikas Bahl (Queen, Super 30 fame). The movie is all set to hit theatres on 20th October 2023!

2) Kalki 2898 AD

Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi futuristic actioner, Kalki 2898 AD features Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in the lead. Initially the film was planned to release on January 12, 2024 but the 1st glimpse video simply shows 2024 in the end. So maybe the release date is bound to change.

3) Section 84

Big B will be seen in Ribhu Dasgupta’s upcoming courtroom drama, titled – Section 84. The movie also stars Diana Penty in a key role.

4) Thalaivar 170

After 32 years, legendary actors of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth are all set to reunite for Thalaivar 170. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the movie will be produced by Lyca Productions.

The duo were previously seen together in films like Hum, Andhaa Kaanoon and Geraftaar.

5) The Intern

The Intern; Big B upcoming movies

After Piku, Big B and Deepika Padukone were set to reunite for The Intern remake. Previously, Rishi Kapoor was supposed to play the role of a 70-year-old intern. After his demise, Big was roped in to fill in his shoes. However, the movie is yet to go on floors.
