Dhadak 2 1st Weekend Box Office Collection; Off To Bumpy Start!
Dhadak 2, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri and directed by Shazia Iqbal, hit theatres this weekend with high hopes and plenty of positive chatter. But sadly, the numbers didn’t quite dance to the film’s tune.
Dhadak 2 1st Weekend Box Office Collection Report
Despite solid word-of-mouth and extremely strong performances from the lead pair, Dhadak 2 struggled to pull big crowds. The timing might have been a problem. The box office is currently under the spell of Mahavatar Narsimha, which is drawing in massive footfalls. Add to that the strong grip of Saiyaara, which continues to charm its audience and dominate ticket windows.
The opening weekend numbers for Dhadak 2 are as follows –
Friday – ₹3.65 crore
Saturday – ₹4.05 crore
Sunday – ₹4.27 crore
This brings the total to ₹11.97 crore (India nett), which feels a bit underwhelming considering the pre-release excitement.
Still, it’s not over yet. If the positive word-of-mouth keeps growing and weekdays show some stability, there’s a chance the film could gain momentum. For now though, Dhadak 2 seems to have had a slightly shaky start to its box office journey. Let’s wait and watch what week two brings!
