Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri Day 1 Box Office Collection; Scores A Modest Opening!

Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s holiday rom-com Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is finally playing in theatres, but the opening numbers are more sweet and steady than splashy.

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri Day 1 Box Office Collection; Scores A Modest Opening With 7.25 Crore

Despite the Christmas holiday advantage, the film had a tough day at the box office thanks to some heavy competition.

According to Sacnilk, the film earned around ₹7.25 crore on Day 1. Not a bad start for a rom-com, but definitely lower than what one usually expects from a festive release and a Kartik Aaryan-led entertainer. The biggest hurdle? Dhurandhar, which is still going strong and grabbing a major chunk of screens and audiences.

As if that wasn’t enough, Hollywood heavyweight Avatar: Fire and Ash is also in the mix, continuing to pull crowds, especially in IMAX and premium formats. Now, all eyes are on the weekend. If word of mouth clicks, the film could still find its rhythm over the next few days.

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri Storyline:

Romance author Rumi (Ananya Panday) lands in Croatia chasing sunsets and that elusive 90s wala pyaar in the middle of 2025’s hook-up culture.

Enter Ray (Kartik Aaryan). Mama’s boy, certified flirt, walking red flag according to Rumi. She finds him loud, annoying and is desperate to avoid him. Fate, however, has other plans. They keep bumping into each other everywhere. Same yacht, same cafés, yada yada. Cue eye-rolls, banter and then undeniable sparks.

What starts as constant bickering slowly turns into a dreamy holiday romance. But reality crashes the party. This fling comes with an expiry date thanks to the emotional family drama & baggage (Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta).

Will this end as just another vacation memory, or can Rumi and Ray turn this fleeting romance into something real once the holiday ends?

Our reviewTu Meri Main Tera looks glossy and promising at first, but weak writing, flat chemistry and try-hard humour drag it down. A pretty rom-com that sadly fizzles into something dull and forgettable!
