Alia Bhatt Approached For Ranveer Singh’s Zombie Movie Pralay!
Alia Bhatt might is reportedly in talks to reunite with Ranveer Singh for Pralay, a gritty post-apocalyptic zombie film helmed by Jai Mehta. Yes, zombies, dystopia, chaos and two of Bollywood’s biggest powerhouses in one frame. We are already seated.
According to industry buzz, Pralay is set in a crumbling world overrun by zombies, where survival is not just physical but ideological. Ranveer Singh plays the central protagonist navigating this brutal landscape, while Alia’s character is said to be absolutely crucial to the story.
A source close to the project shared, “The female lead is central to the narrative. She challenges the hero’s ideas in a collapsing world. Who could wield that power better than Bhatt? She brings credibility. In a film this experimental, you need actors the audience trusts.”
Fair point. Alia does have a knack for grounding even the wildest stories.
Ranveer Singh Exits Don 3 For Pralay
The film is expected to go on floors between July and August 2026, after Ranveer wraps up his prior commitments, including the much-anticipated Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge. Interestingly, Ranveer was initially slated to do Don 3 next but exited the project to fast-track Pralay. Reportedly, the actor is keen to avoid being boxed into the gangster-action space for too long and wants to switch gears before repetition sets in.
If Alia signs on, Pralay will mark the duo’s third collaboration after Gully Boy and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. From street rap to family drama and now zombies, Ranveer and Alia are truly collecting genres like Pokémon.
While the casting is yet to be officially confirmed, one thing is clear. If this reunion happens, Pralay could be one wild, risky, and refreshingly different ride for Bollywood. And honestly, we are here for it.
