We bring to you 5 such talented young actors who recently emerged as OTT sensations :
1) Pratik Gandhi
The theatre and film actor, Pratik Gandhi had already carved a niche for himself in the Gujarati entertainment circuit. In 2020, he ventured into the OTT space with SonyLIV’s crime drama series ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’.
His portrayal of the stockbroker and ‘Big Bull’ Harshad Mehta was simply phenomenal and earned him rave reviews! He will next be seen in in the Hindi film ‘Ravan Leela’, as well as the romantic-comedy ‘Atithi Bhooto Bhava’.
2) Rohit Saraf
The utterly cute Rohit Saraf has become the latest heartthrob of the nation. His character as a vulnerable boy in search of a better life in Ludo and an earnest college boy in the Mismatched Netflix web series wowed the audience and won him innumerable female fans.
His boyish charm and talent continue to send them in a tizzy and his social media is proof that his popularity has increased manifold in such a short span of time.
3) Adarsh Gourav
The recently released Netflix Original, The White Tiger, saw Adarsh Gourav stealing the show with aplomb. His journey from a loyal servant to a master and his endearing performance had put him under the spotlight.
The young actor had the audience and the critics raving about him right from his first scene in the film. He pleasantly surprised everyone with his performance and has become the latest blue-eyed boy of the industry.
4) Ishwak Singh
Ishwak Singh made many heads turn as a suave and charming man in Veere Di Wedding. But it was the Amazon Prime Original series, Paatal Lok, that proved his acting prowess.
His portrayal of a badass cop from the heartland in his debut web series won him a lot of praises and he emerged as one of the most promising faces in showbiz. The actor was next seen in Unpaused, an Amazon Prime Original anthology film which also went on to win him good reviews.
5) Ritwik Bhowmik
Another fresh face to watch out for – Ritwik Bhowmik, the male lead of Amazon Prime’s Bandish Bandits.
The young actor sure did grab eyeballs as Radhe Rathod, a shy but determined Indian classical singer who braves all odds to make his guru proud of him.
