She made her Bollywood debut in Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.

As Bollywood Hungama reported, Ankita will next be seen in a murder mystery titled Iti, produced by Vivek Oberoi. There is one more special news for all the Ankita Lokhande fans out there. For the first time ever, Ankita will be seen as the female lead in a Bollywood movie. Yes, you heard this right!
“Ankita will play the main role in ‘Iti’, the murder mystery that Prenaa Arora had announced last year. The film is about a girl who has to solve her own murder. When the makers were scouting for a good performer, they spoke to Ankita who also loved the role. She has already agreed to be part of the film and the shooting was supposed to begin this month in Shimla. But, the Covid second wave has now delayed plans now,” a source revealed to the portal.
Being directed by Vishal Ranjan Mishra, the movie also supposedly features Vivek Oberoi, along with Rajeev Sen and Taher Shabbir.
