After completing the shoot of the Hindi remake of the Telugu film, ‘Jersey’ Shahid will start shooting for Shashank Khaitan’s action-drama ‘Yoddha’.

However, did you know that Shahid was not the first choice for the film? Then, who was? Let’s know below.

Shashank Khaitan had first approached Ranbir Kapoor for the film. They thought that he would be perfect for the role. However, the actor turned down the offer for unknown reasons and the script was then offered to Shahid Kapoor. 

Shahid was very excited about the role after he read the script and reports suggest that he will be paired opposite Disha Patani. According to a report, the film is an actioner centered on the protagonist but the female lead has an interesting arc and is crucial to the narrative.

If Disha Patani agrees to come on board then this will be the first time that Shahid and Disha will be seen together on screen.
