THROWBACK: When PeeCee Had Savage Comebacks For Kareena!

After breaking up with Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor had reportedly dated Priyanka Chopra.

Rumours of a cold war brewing between the two actresses had gone rife back then. Here’s a throwback to the savage replies Priyanka had for Kareena’s jibes – 

Priyanka had won a National Award for Fashion but Kareena had remarked that her movie Heroine was much better than Fashion! She had even stated that she did not care for a National Award.

Kareena had commented – “I don’t want the National Award… I seriously don’t need any such thing. I would only want the audience to go and watch the film once and that will be more than enough for me. Once everybody should see the movie and say it is a good watch.” 

Priyanka had addressed this dig while talking to NDTV with a sassy reply- “Well I guess, if you don’t have one (National Award) then, it’s just sour grapes, you know. What do I say?”

Moreover, Kareena had also taken a jibe at Priyanka’s accent – “I wonder where Priyanka got her accent from.”

Priyanka had then shot back at this comment with her own snarky answer – “I got it from the same place her boyfriend (Kareena was dating Saif Ali Khan back then) got it from.”

However, later on, the two actresses went on to grace Koffee with Karan together and even addressed the alleged rivalry – 

Priyanka had said, “I think we didn’t even know each other. We never spent time enough with each other. By the time we did, we really started to get along. But till we didn’t do that, it was just weird energy created by people.”
