According to reports, Zoya and Farhan believed this was the only chance to get Ranbir Kapoor and Bebo together on the big screen, as they can’t play the conventional lead pair for very obvious reasons.
Kareena agreed to do the movie only if Ranbir would play the role of her sibling onscreen. Ranbir initially agreed on doing the movie but later backed off due to date clashes.
Sources have also revealed that Ranbir was unsure if he wanted to be seen on the big screen with his superstar cousin.
After Ranbir’s exeunt, Kareena too expressed unwillingness to do the project arguing that she would rather not be seen as Ranveer Singh’s sibling.
