Raj Kundra alleged porn films controversy has led to a lot of trolling of his wife Shilpa Shetty.
Shilpa Shetty had recently filed a 25 crore defamation suit against certain media organisations for publishing allegedly false and malicious content.
The Bombay High court had refused to pass any ‘blanket gag’ order against media though. As per India Today, the court said that reports based on police sources weren’t defamatory.
However, the court had further added that reports shouldn’t be questioning her role as a PARENT though. “That part is protected by her right of privacy under the wide protection recognised by the freedom of press to be balanced with right of privacy,” said the court.
Certain celebs like Richa Chadha and Hansal Mehta have also come forward to support Shilpa’s right to dignity and privacy.

Shilpa took to Instagram amidst the current controversy to address the trolling. She requested the media to respect her right to privacy, for the sake of her children.
She stated that the case is subjudiced and they’re pursuing all the available legal course. Reiterating that she was a hard-working professional and law-abiding citizen, she appealed to everyone to allow the law to take its course and not subject them to a media trial!
