As per a Peeping Moon report, Sidharth had met Vikram Batra’s brother Vishal sometime back and was highly inspired by the soldier’s bravery. Harbouring the vision of bringing the story to life, Sidharth had taken the project to Dharma Productions – who came on board to make it a reality!
Fans have been raving about seeing Sid in an army role; the similarity between Capt. Vikram Batra and Sidharth Malhotra is unreal! Shershaah team has taken pains to remain as authentic as possible – from meeting the family before filming as prep to shooting at real locations where the real Vikram Batra lived through.
