Bollywood’s dewy-eyed beauty, Tabu, makes her way to the cast of Dune for its upcoming series, Dune: Prophecy soon to be released on JioCinema.
DUNE: PROPHECY is a Max original series, which will be a part of the critically acclaimed movie franchise, that built a dedicated fandom after winning six Academy Awards.
Set within the expansive universe of Dune, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, Dune: Prophecy follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit.
Tabu’s character is based on Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson’s novel, Sisterhood of Dune, where she takes on the important role of Sister Francesca.
Tabu’s portrayal as Sister Francesca is that of a strong, intelligent, and alluring character, leaving a lasting impression and charm that is quintessentially Tabu. Upon awakening, Sister Francesca returns to the Palace where she was once beloved by the Emperor, but her presence leads to a disruption in the balance of power in the capital – what follows, is a story of grit, human emotions, and mystique of the cosmic.

She will be working alongside Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Johdi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, and Shalom Brune-Franklin as the major cast of the movie.
