Kangana Ranaut‘s controversies are no secret to Bollywood and there’s one more issue to pay heed to now.
A recent press conference was held where the ‘Manikarnika’ actress spoke out against a certain political party.
A report informs us that she spoke about starting a family in the near future and revealed that she sees herself as a wife and mother five years down the line. She later said that India got freedom only after 2014 when the current Prime Minister came into power and what the country got in 1947 was ‘bheekh’.
Naturally, her statement wasn’t received well. This reportedly angered the National Executive Member of Aam Aadmi Party, Preethi Menon, who has registered a police complaint against Kangana. In a Times Now event, Ranaut was heard saying, “Woh azadi nahi thi who bheekh thik, jo azaadi mili hai hai who 2014 mein mili hai.”
Preethi Menon was quick to share that her party has submitted an application to the Mumbai Police, requesting strict action against Kangana for her seditious and inflammatory statements, under sections 504, 505 and 124A.
