Akshay Kumar & Emraan Hashmi are all set to team for a movie for the first time ever.
The duo will be seen in ‘Selfiee’, the Hindi remake of the Malayalam comedy-drama ‘Driving Licence’ (2019).
Directed by ‘Good Newwz’ fame Raj Mehta, ‘Selfiee’ is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Prithviraj Productions, Magic Frames and Cape of Good Films .
The Malayalam original was directed by Lean Paul Lal and starred Prithviraj Sukumaran (co-producing the Hindi remake ‘Selfiee’) and Suraj Venjaramoodu in key roles.
The original film revolves around a misunderstanding that creates an ego clash between a superstar and a motor vehicle inspector, who also happens to be a die-hard fan of the actor.
