Starring Prabhas as Raghava (Lord Ram), Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh (Ravana), Kriti Sanon as Janaki (Sita), Sunny Singh as Lakshmana and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman among others, Adipurush is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana.

Adipurush Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 2:
The Prabhas-starrer is on its way to record a good opening weekend at the box office. The movie opened to a collection of Rs 140 crores worldwide box office.
As posted by T-Series, Adipurush globally minted Rs 100 crores on Saturday, taking the total worldwide collection to a whopping Rs 240 CRORES in just 2 days.
Day 1: ₹140 Crores
Day 2: ₹100 Crores
Total: ₹240 CRORES!
Despites its record-breaking box office numbers, the film has been receiving severe backlash due to its dialogues such as “Kapda tere baap ka, tel tere baap ka, jalegi bhi baap ki,” “bua ka bagicha hai kya” along with a few other lines.
On Sunday, the makers have issued an official statement stating that they have decided to revise the dialogues and the change will reflect in theatres in the coming few days.
Sharing a note, the official spokesperson on T-Series reportedly said –
“Adipurush is garnering an overwhelming response across the world and is conquering the hearts of audiences across all ages. Making this visual spectacle a memorable cinematic experience, the team decides to make alterations to the film’s dialogues –Valuing the input of the public and the audience. The makers are revisiting the said dialogues, ensuring to resonate with core essence of the film and the same will reflect in the theatres in the next few days. This decision is a testament that inspite of unstoppable collections at the Box Office, the team is committed, and nothing is beyond the sentiments of their audiences and harmony at large.”
