Munjya Teaser out – the film stars Sharvari and Abhay Verma in lead roles. The cast also includes Mona Singh and S. Sathyaraj. The horror-comedy has been directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik.

The brief 1 and half minute teaser introduces a peculiar ghoul-like creature in Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe (consisting of Stree, Roohi and Bhediya). Escaping from the jungle, this sinister, lurking monster climbs into a house and is captivated by a television set playing Malaika Arora’s iconic Munni song.
“Munnis, beware! He’s coming,” – the teaser concludes with this warning. The official trailer of Munjya will be released on 24th May 2024.

This horror-comedy franchise was kickstarted by Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree (2018). It was followed by Roohi in 2021 starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s Bhediya introduced the concept of werewolves in this horror-comedy series.
The franchise has been commercially successful, having grossed a combined ₹300 crores at the box office!
