He is collaborating with Pooja Hegde for the first time for a movie. Directed by Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews, the thriller film sees Shahid in a cop’s role.

Deva was initially scheduled to hit the theatres on 11th October 2024! However, now the release has been pushed to the next year – it will arriving in theatres on Valentine’s Day, 14th February 2025.

According to the makers, Deva tells the story of a brilliant yet rebellious police officer who is investigating a high-profile case. As he delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a web of deceit and betrayal, leading him down a thrilling and dangerous path.
The movie is produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films.
