When the news broke about the shocking robbery at Saif Ali Khan’s house, fans were horrified. But for Soha Ali Khan, the fear hit even closer to home. In an exclusive chat with Instant Bollywood, she revealed that her own family had faced something eerily similar years ago.

“Absolutely, there was fear. And actually, I don’t know if people know this or not, but 10 years ago there was a robbery at our house too. And Kunal was at home at that time, and he actually caught the thief and took the thief to the police station. And it even came out in the newspapers,” Soha shared.

She admitted it was unsettling to think that such incidents had touched two members of the same family. “Just to think that in one family, with two people, this has happened, it is a bit too close to home.” Naturally, her mother was left deeply worried.
Soha Ali Khan Comments On The Robbery At Saif Ali Khan’s House
“Of course, with my brother, it was taken to another level, and there was a lot of violence involved. That was scary.” The violent incident at Saif’s house left him badly hurt, but thankfully, he bounced back.
“Saif was very badly injured, but made a 100% total recovery. And that’s the thing we hold on to, be grateful. You think about the fact that it could have ended in a different way, and it didn’t. Which means somebody was looking out for him,” she said.
Soha pointed out how such incidents wake people up to security in general. After Saif’s robbery, she recalled, housing societies across Mumbai were suddenly holding meetings, checking if CCTV cameras were working and whether security guards were really doing their jobs at night. “Because when something happens to a celebrity, then all of us wake up,” she explained.
For Soha, the takeaway is clear. Life can turn frightening in seconds, but gratitude keeps you grounded. The Khan family has had its share of terrifying moments, yet they have also seen miracles in recovery and resilience.
