Dimpla Kapadia‘s OTT debut series – Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo – also starring Radhika Madan, is a new spin on ‘saas-bahu’ drama.

Directed by Homi Adajania (Finding Fanny, Angrezi Medium fame), Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo will stream exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.
Apart from Simple and Radhika, the series also stars Angira Dhar, Isha Talwar and Deepak Dobriyal amongst others.
The 58-second clip begins with the title song of the iconic Ekta Kapoor daily soap, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, as it shows glimpses of the lives of 4 ladies who are seen with weapons and killing men.
The official synopsis of the show reportedly reads –
“The series revolves around four inimitable women, the matriarch Savitri, her daughters-in-law, Bijli and Kajal, and her daughter Shanta who live in Hastipur – a forgotten village in the north-west. Savitri runs a company named Rani Cooperative, trading in products ranging from jari-booti balms to textiles. But everything here isn’t what it seems. Turns out, this cottage business is just a front for the biggest drug cartel being run in South Asia.”
The series was initially titled Saas Bahu aur Cocaine.
