Malang, starring Disha Patani and Aditya Roy Kapur gained a lot of appreciation and the fans are eagerly waiting for its sequel.
However, the makers recently opened up about Malang 2. Let’s find out what they have to say.
Jay Shewakramani, who is gearing up for the much-anticipated release of Kartik Aaryan and Alaya F’s Freddy was also the producer for Jawaani Janeman and Malang.
Talking about the sequels, Jay told Peepingmoon, “Jawaani Jaaneman inherently doesn’t need a sequel. Saif (Ali Khan) is like a brother to me so I would love to make films with him. Even Malang is a definite film. Malang is Mohit Suri’s creation, don’t know whether he plans to take it ahead.”
Malang was released in 2020 and just a few days after the release, the director had confirmed the sequel. He said, “Sequel to Malang is definitely on the cards but I cannot confirm at the moment.”
Mohit had also confirmed through Instagram that his first draft was ready for Malang 2, but nothing for informed further.
