Salman Khan Being Haangryy Truck: Gift of Eid 2020

Given the nation-wide lockdown induced by Coronavirus, Eid 2020 was quite a dull affair. And when one talks about Eid, one can’t forget our very own Eid ka Chand – Salman Khan! Now, Eid and Bhai’s Blockbuster Box Office Dhamakas have been so synonymous with each other that this time the lack of his film release ‘Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai’ was just glaringly haunting.

Just like pizza without cheese, Dal without tadka, Eid without Biryani!

But why fear when Bhai is here? Apna Bhai sirf bolta nahi par karke dikhata hai! Though stuck in Panvel farmhouse, he left no stone unturned in making everyone’s Eid extra special!

To make sure even the poor and the underprivileged people of Mumbai could celebrate Eid properly, Salman Khan arranged for around 5,000 Eidi kits to be distributed on Eid-ul-Fitr. Since the shooting for Radhe had halted, the ‘Being Haangryy’ food trucks which were specially designed to cater for the filming were instead utilized in handing out food to the needy.

These ‘Being Haangryy’ food trucks were equipped with kits that were stocked with milk, grains, vermicelli, dry fruits, ghee; ingredients that would help those families prepare sheer khurma for Eid celebration!

Always coming to the rescue of the poor and the homeless with food rations and essential supplies as well as financially helping out daily wage workers, Salman Khan has truly proved why he IS the Most Wanted Bhai.

Further doing his bit to spread smiles and happiness in these troubled times, Salman Khan has also released a song, ‘Bhai Bhai’, which celebrates the spirit of brotherhood and unity. He hopes this special song will make up for the lack of his movie release this Eid, and bring people close to each other.
