Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, K K Singh, along with close family members were called into the Police station to give their statements on the death of the actor. The police have apparently recorded statements of nine people including Sushant’s father, two sisters and the cooks at his Bandra home.
“So far we have recorded statements of nine persons, including the actor’s cook, a caretaker and managers,” mentioned a Senior Officer.
During the initial probe, the Police found anti depressants and medical prescriptions at Sushant’s house in Bandra. According to the statement that K K Singh gave the police and other reports, the father was neither aware that Sushant was undergoing a case of depression, nor that he took medicines for the illness.
He stated, “Sushant told me two or three times in the last few months that he feels low because of the ongoing tension in the film industry.”
In a recent tweet, Home Minister Anil Deshmukh suggested that the Police might want to enquire about the actor’s clinical depression because of professional rivalry.
As mentioned by The Indian Express, a Police official revealed that the police may converse with Mahesh Shetty, Sushant Singh’s friend, to understand the truth behind whether or not there was any professional rivalry that triggered the actor’s depression.

What is d cause of depression?? With so much talent in hand, money in d account, fame, film everything….then what forced him to take his own life? As a common man a senior citizen why not to give d case to CBI to have proper investigation without any foul play….what a magnanimous talent he had….what a loss to everyone….please give him justice…
If he was under going treatment for depression than he must had to say openly each and every thing about himself, his problems, reason of the problem etc to the doctor . And if he was taking medicines for last 5 or 6 months, then how come after six months he takes such a drastically step?
He has his father, his Telescopic camera, his dreams for social work, dog, which were his responsibilities n etc. So how can one take such step that too after going out in the morning, came back had juice etc. All rubbish. Such a healthy, strong, jolly, person. It’s not possible that it’s a suicide…..
