Keeping in might the current pandemic and the safety measures, the makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 have announced that they will resume the shooting from the month of September. 35 days of shooting is still remaining for the film.
Director Anees Bazmee told Mid Day “We have to go to Lucknow to finish the film. We had built a huge set and it has been standing untouched all these months. It is imperative to shoot the remaining portions there to maintain continuity. The safety of our cast and crew is of utmost importance to us. Only when we receive the permission from the [Uttar Pradesh] government, will we resume work on the film. Hopefully, we will revisit Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 by September.”
Bhool Bhulaiyaa was released in 2007, starring Akshay Kumar along side Vidya Balan. The sequel of Bhool Bhulaiyaa will have Kartik Aryan and Kiara Advani in the lead. This sequel was originally set to release on July 31st, but has now been postponed because of the lockdown.
