The new Amazon Prime Video‘s comedy-drama series called Rasbhari was released on the 19th of June on the OTT platform. It is directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt and was recently displayed at France’s Series Mania International Festival.
Despite the release of the series, Amazon Prime Video was yet to release a trailer on any of its social media platforms, but that has changed now. The official trailer was released on the 24th of June and has already gotten over 720k views.
The series of 8 episodes stars Swara Bhasker in and as Rasbhari, Ayushmaan Saxena, Rashmi Agdekar, Chittaranjan Tripathy, Neelu Kohli, Pradhuman Singh Mall, Sunakshi Grover, Manju Sharma, Aruna Soni, Akshay Batchu, and Akshay Suri.
As stated by the OTT platform itself, Rasbhari’s synopsis is as follows, “Nand is amongst the rush of men who pursue Shanu, the new English teacher in Meerut. Upon his discovering her supposed alter-ego, the sex-obsessed spirit of Rasbhari, their relationship takes a new turn. A now matured Nand, takes up the responsibility of saving Shanu from the ongoing witch hunt by the women of the town initiated by his own mother, Pushpa.”
