While opening up to the media about Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, in an interview with Tadka Bollywood, his father Krishna Kumar Singh also talked about two of his co-stars; Ankita Lokhande and Kriti Sanon.
Sushant was in a 6 year long relationship with his Pavitra Rishta co-actor, Ankita Lokhande, before they mutually called it quits. Sushant’s father revealed that his former-girlfriend had not only visited the grieving family in Mumbai but also flown down to be with them in Patna after the actor’s demise.
“Ha wo aayi bhi thi, Bombay bhi aayi thi aur Patna bhi aayi thi.”
When asked about Sushant’s relationship with Ankita, Krishna Kumar resigned that to ‘God’s will.’
“Yeh toh sanjog hai, jo hona hota hai hota hai.”
He also claimed that Ankita Lokhande was the only girl that he knew of in his son’s life.
Sushant’s father also revealed that many people had come to meet him but since everyone was wearing masks, he wasn’t able to identify them. Even though everyone maintained their distance because of Corona, he did recall Kriti Sanon coming up to him personally to pay her respects.
“Aaye toh bohot log the lekin humse sirf Kriti Sanon mili thi, ha wo baith ke baat kiya. Hum toh baat nahi kiya, wo jo bol rahi thi hum sunte gaye.”
Revealing how Kriti tried to console him at the funeral, he said, “Ek smart ladki thi aur bol rahi thi ki pyaara ladka tha, yehi sab baat hai.”
