Anurag Kashyap vs Team Kangana battle on Twitter

Kangana Ranaut has been making headlines ever since she slammed Bollywood and nepotism in a recent interview, while also taking a dig at Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker.

Anurag Kashyap took to Twitter to share his views on Kangana; saying that he couldn’t recognise this ‘New Kangana’. He also termed her interview after Manikarnika’s release as ‘scary’.

Talking about how the power of success equally affects everyone, whether they’re outsider or insider, Anurag commented that before 2015 he had never heard Kangana say things like, “Learn from me, be like me.”

He also pointed out through his tweets that Kangana’s stance right now was basically that anyone who’s not siding with her is mean and a sycophant.

He also went on to say that ‘this Kangana’ was someone who abuses all her directors, sits in the edit and cuts the roles of all the co-stars, and from whom the directors that previously admired her were now turning away from working with her.

He also further added that – “This power which Kangana feels has earned, to suppress others…”

Anurag went on to point out that by not showing the mirror to ‘That Kangana’, people were finishing her. He further emphasized that since he respected Kangana, he is not able to tolerate the nonsense of the New Kangana.

He commented that even if no one said anything, he was going to speak up. He told Kangana Ranaut Team that ‘It was enough’.

Anurag stated that Kangana was being used. “If it is not apparent even to your family members and friends, then there is only one truth; everyone is using you and today you have no one of your own.”

Kashyap had also tweeted that he had built a new company by himself and he didn’t depend on Big producers like YRF, Dharma and Excel to back him. He also elaborated on how he had helped Kangana in the past with ‘Queen’ when she had no work.

He also mentioned that he had introduced Aanand Rai to financiers to help him out in finishing ‘Tanu weds Manu’.

Team Kangana Ranaut responded to Anurag Kashyap’s statements by calling him ‘Mini Mahesh Bhatt’ and also claimed that he was protecting the ‘Movie Mafia’.
