Rhea Chakraborty has been on the receiving end of the netizen’s wrath after an FIR was lodged in Patna by Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, alleging abetment to suicide, cheating and conspiracy.
The actress has now broken her silence in a viral video – defending herself in Sushant Singh Rajput case.
Her video statement reads – “I have immense faith in God, and the judiciary. I believe that I will get justice. Even though a lot of horrible things are being said about me in the electronic media, I refrain from commenting on the advice of my lawyers, as the matter is sub-judice. Satyamev Jayate… the truth shall prevail.”
Rhea had earlier filed a petition in Supreme Court, seeking transfer of investigation of the FIR lodged in Patna to Mumbai.
This is her first public response to the case, released by her lawyer Satish Maneshinde.
