Actress Disha Patani’s father, who is a deputy SP in the vigilance unit of UP state power department, along with two other officers have tested positive for coronavirus.
Additional CMO Ashok Kumar confirmed the news on Wednesday that Jagdish Patani and the two other officers have tested positive while they were in Lucknow.
The three officers were apparently investigating a transformer scam. ACMO Ashok Kumar added that the zonal chief engineer’s office has also been shut down for next 48 hours.
Uttar Pradesh now has reported 4,078 COVID-19 cases and the state’s government has said that a total of 4,154 cases were brought forward the previous day which makes the total number of infected people to be 1,04,388.
