On Monday, the CBI recorded the statement of Sushant Singh Rajput’s father K.K Singh who was at the residence of his son-in-law OP Singh, who is the Police commissioner of Faridabad. They also recorded Sushant’s sister’s statement.
As per Times Now report, the family has alleged that it was murder, and CBI should look into the SSR case as a case of a ‘murder’ and not as an ‘abetment to suicide.’
Given the recent developments in the investigations, media reports, including circumstances where evidence was allegedly ‘destroyed’, the family has now asked that the case be looked into as a murder.
Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty had filed a fresh affidavit in Supreme Court yesterday, against ‘unfair media trial’, saying that despite the open investigation of the case, the media has already decided her as the convict. She had also requested court protection against “extreme trauma and infringement of privacy”, stating that she was afraid of becoming the “scapegoat of political agendas”.
