In our exclusive interview hosted by Chandnimimic, Vidyut spills the beans on why he is upset with the media.
Thoughts on Insider VS Outsider debate
On being asked for his thoughts on the advantages he would’ve had, had he been an insider, Vidyut had a very fitting response.
“It isn’t that easy. For people who are a part of the industry it is not easy, but it not difficult also. So you can’t say that it is easy, they also feel pressure. But like I said in all the interviews, it isn’t about things being easy or difficult. For us it is difficult because they have roadblocks kept in front of us. Wo aapka naam kharab karte hai, they do negative press, they buy things off. When you come from smaller towns you don;t have the money. They can get the media to write anything. All those things shouldn’t be done.”
“But it is difficult. You have to have a lot of talent and if you think you have talent in you, you have to work more hard. Because that talent will be tested here, it is not easy at all.”
“The media is really wrong”
Vidyut also stated that the media is wrong in snapping pictures of Sushant’s sister expecially when she was entering court.
“But yeah, media ki bhi bohot galti hai. I was going through social media and I saw Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister who was in town and had going to court. Yaar, bohot battameez hai humare journalists. These guys need to be tamed. His sister is coming! If my sister was coming and if I wasn’t alive and would I be looking from up there, I’d be ashamed of them (the media). They were putting the cameras on her face. All this needs to be stopped. If you have any ability, please stop this. It is disrespecting the soul that has departed. Be kind to people.”
