Recently, the leaked Whatsapp Chats between Rhea Chakraborty and Mahesh Bhatt had gone viral on the Internet, causing quite a stir.
The filmmaker’s wife Soni Razdan and daughter Pooja Bhatt took to Twitter to defend him and offer clarification.
They said that the Whatsapp forwards that Mahesh sent Rhea had also been sent to them, as well as several other people in Bhatt’s contact list.
Pooja wrote – “Interestingly, the message @IndiaToday refers to as ‘most explosive revelation’ is a message that my father also sent me & countless other people on his phone list on the same day(June 9) & subsequently posted on Twitter as well (26-6-2020) get your facts right @IndiaToday”
Meanwhile, Soni called out the news channels for their ‘fabricated spin-offs’, stating that they had turned into ‘uglier, salacious version of Stardust’. She attached a screenshot of her own Whatsapp conversation with Bhatt.
