The CBI has been continuously grilling Sushant Singh Rajput’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani, cook Neeraj Singh and house help Dipesh Sawant.
And now, Siddharth Pithani has made a sensational confession to the CBI! As reported by Times Now, he confessed that 8 Hard Drives were destroyed before Rhea left SSR’s house.
India Today reported that Sushant and Rhea had a fight, following which she moved out of his house, after having stayed there during the lockdown. Siddharth said that he wasn’t aware of the contents of the hard drives, but noted that an IT professional came to the house and conducted the process with both Sushant and Rhea present. He named the house help Dipesh Sawant and cook Neeraj Singh as being witnesses to this.
As per Times Now, Vikas Singh, SSR’s family lawyer commented on this development saying that this clearly establishes there was a conspiracy to kill the actor.
“I think there’s something very sinister in this entire episode and it appears that there is involvement of some big people in the case. First thing that should happen is the suspension of Mumbai Commissioner of Police and DCP of that area.”
Singh further said that Sushant’s girlfriend might be administering drugs to Sushant without his knowledge in order to “control his mind” and “manipulate” him.
According to Times Now, staff member Dipesh Sawant has agreed to become an approver in the case and reportedly admitted Rhea-SSR fallout.
Apart from the CBI, Enforcement Directorate and Narcotics Control Bureau too are investigating the SSR Case.
