The SSR Case keeps getting murkier by the day. Recently, a chat had surfaced between SSR’s sister Neetu Singh and his business manager Shruti Modi that showed Sushant’s sister talking about his medical prescriptions and doctors treating him.
As reported by India Today, another chat between Sushant and his sister Priyanka Singh has surfaced, wherein Priyanka is recommending anxiety medicines.
Dated June 8, the day when Rhea Chakraborty left SSR’s home, as per India Today report the chats go like:
Priyanka: First take Librium for a week then start nexito 10 mg once everyday after breakfast. Keep Lonazep handy whenever there is anxiety attack.
Sushant: ok Sonudi.
Sushant: No one will give without prescription
Priyanka: Let me see if I manage
A missed voice call
Priyanka: Babu call me.. I have to send the prescription.
Priyanka: My friend here is a renowned doctor who can get you connected to the best doctor in Mumbai all confidential.. so don’t worry
Priyanka: Just call
Priyanka then sends an attachment (Prescription)
Priyanka: Babu this is the prescription
Priyanka: It’s of Delhi but it should not matter . If anything, one can say it is on online consultation
Sushant: Ok thank you so much Sonadi.
Talking to India Today, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer commented on the matter saying – “Rhea Chakraborty in her statements to the CBI and ED said that on June 8, Priyanka had chatted with Sushant. She asked Sushant to take three different medicines without a prescription. Rhea protested as she said that he was already taking medicines prescribed by Sushant’s doctors. Rhea had an argument with Sushant regarding the same and then Sushant asked her to leave. Rhea then called her brother, Showik Chakraborty, to take her home.”
The lawyer further said, “The family denied and made a false statement with the CBI, the SC and Mumbai Police that it was Rhea who was giving drugs/medicines to Sushant.”
After the drug angle in SSR Case came under scanner, the Narcotics Control Bureau registered a criminal case against Rhea Chakraborty and others. As per India Today report, the NCB has also identified two men, Farookh Sheikh alias Farookh Batata and Bakul Chandalia, who are known for supplying drugs in the Bollywood circle. The agency is most likely to question the two men in the case.
Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty is being grilled by the CBI as well.
