Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda in custody
Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda had been arrested by the NCB and have been remanded into a 4 day custody by the court.
The NCB had presented Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda before the court in connection to the drug angle in the SSR case and the two have now been taken into a four-day custody (till September 9th) by the court. News has it that the court as also sent Kaizen Ibrahim into a 14 day judicial custody.
Reportedly, NCB’s remand copy of Showik Chakraborty mentions that he has had an active role in the drug syndicate. “High profile persons are a part of that syndicate. There’s a purpose to uncover others in the syndicate.”
Mutha Ashok Jain, Deputy DG, NCB, told ANI, “Today we have obtained the police custody remand of two more persons so that makes four people in our custody remand.”
Rhea Chakraborty Summoned By NCB
Post the arrest of Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda, Rhea Chakraborty has been called into questioning by the NCB tomorrow.
Rhea’s chat records that the NCB possess apparently include conversations on banned drugs. Rhea’s brother Showik had also reportedly confessed to the NCB that Rhea was indeed involved in procuring the drugs for Sushant.
CBI revisit SSR House, Mitu Singh accompanies
An update in the SSR case is that Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Mitu Singh and his friend Sandeep Ssingh had also been called into questioning in the DRDO guest house for questioning.
Prior to that, Mitu Singh had accompanied the CBI to Sushant’s Bandra flat for crime recreation, where Rajput’s death had taken place. At the DRDO guest house, Sushant’s friend Smita Parikh was present too and it was apparently her to told the media that Sandip Ssingh was thoroughly interrogated by the CBI.
It was also reported that Sushant’s friend, Siddharth Pithani, was also present at the guest house as he was also interrogated today.
SSR’s house help Dipesh Sawant ARRESTED!
The latest news spills that Sushant Singh Rajput’s house help, Dipesh Sawant, has been arrested today by the NCB for the procuring and handling of drugs.
Speaking to ANI, KPS Malhotra, Deputy Director of Narcotics Control Bureau stated, “Dipesh Sawant arrested by NCB for his role in procuring & handling of drugs. He has been arrested based on statements & digital evidence. He will be produced before court tomorrow at 11 am. Cross-examination of arrested people underway. He will be produced before the concerned court at Esplanate Court at 11 am. In ongoing investigation, 7 persons arrested & 3 (Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda & Zaid) are on NCB remand.”
