The Raut VS Ranaut feud had started a while ago but things have gotten a little too messy now with the Shiv Sena leader abusing the actress.
Sanjay Raut while being questioned by a news channel recently called Kangana out using the term ‘Haramkhor Ladki’.
With a video, Ranaut took to Twitter and hit back at Raut’s statement saying, “Sanjay-ji I condemn you, you are not Maharashtra“.
In the video, Kangana is seen saying, “Mr Sanjay Raut, you called me ‘har******r ladki’. You are a public servant. You know how many girls are raped every day in the country, how many of them are tortured and killed – sometimes by their own husbands. And you know who is responsible for all this? It is this mindset you have very shamelessly displayed. You have empowered those exploiters. The daughters of this country will never forgive you.“
Now, upon the request of Kangana’s father and sister, the Himachal Pradesh Government will provide the actress with police protection. This news came forward post Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur‘s statement that the Government is considering providing Ranaut with protection for her Mumbai visit on the 9th of September.
“Kangana Ranaut’s father has given in writing asking for police protection. I also spoke to her sister yesterday. The Director-General of Police has been directed in this regard and she will be provided security here. We are discussing what can be done to provide security to her outside the state as she is leaving for Mumbai on September 9,” Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur states.
A TOI report also says that Haryana Minister Anil Vij has also gone ahead in support of Kangana saying, “Kangana Ranaut should be given police protection. She should be allowed to make revelations freely.”
“Mumbai is not anybody’s inheritance. Anybody can go there. Actions must be taken against people allegedly threatening her. You cannot stop anybody from speaking the truth. The candle brigades hit the road on every issue. Why are they quiet on this? Why aren’t they returning their medals in support of Ranaut, who is being stopped from telling truths?” Vij added in his statement.
The latest update as per an Indian Express report is that now the Home Ministry has decided to accord Ranaut Y-plus category security through one of the paramilitary personnel, a home ministry official said.
The Y-plus category central cover entails deployment of about 10 armed commandos with the protectee, the official said.
Taking to Twitter, Kangana has thanked Home Minister Amit Shah saying, “This shows that no one can crush a patriot in the country. I am thankful to Home Minister Amit Shah. Had he wanted, he would have told me to visit Mumbai later but he respected India’s daughter and acknowledged my self-respect. Jai Hind.”
