NCB probing the drug angle in SSR case had summoned Deepika Padukone’s manager, Karishma Prakash after alleged drug chats had surfaced.
However, Karishma, who is a KWAN Talent Management Agency employee, has sought exemption from NCB investigation till September 25.
The manager has cited ill-health as the reason for skipping the summons. Meanwhile, Deepika is currently in Goa for the shoot of her upcoming film helmed by Shakun Batra. The actress may also be questioned if required.
Yesterday, the agency had also summoned and grilled Dhruv Chitgopekar, CEO of talent management agency KWAN along with Jaya Saha.
Meanwhile, today, NCB will be questioning Film Producer Madhu Mantena of Udta Punjab fame. He had reportedly been named by Jaya Saha during her interrogation.
