Salman Khan‘s production house has backed a lot of Bollywood movies, giving a flavor of different genres to the audience. Reports suggest that the production house will be soon producing a web series as well.
The upcoming production will be a non-fiction series that will talk about the local sports of India.
A source says “Ever since Salman featured in Sultan [2016] and learned extensively about wrestling, he has taken a keen interest in the rich sporting culture of the country. The idea behind the show is to put the spotlight on the countless sports stars whose names have been unfortunately forgotten due to India’s obsession with cricket. Besides hockey and kabaddi, it will focus on the lesser-explored sports such as kayaking and mountain biking. A research team is currently gathering the material, and the series is expected to roll by mid-2021.“
