Kangana Ranaut leaves Manali to resume the shooting of ‘Thalaivi’ after 7 months

As the shooting schedules resume in Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut has also left her home in Manali to travel to South India and resume the shoot of her upcoming ‘Thalaivi.’

Before the lockdown was imposed, Kangana Ranaut has started shooting for this bilingual film which is a biopic on actress turned politician, Jaylalithaa.

Kangana shared a beautiful tweet with her selfies and it said  “Dear friends today is a very special day, resuming work after 7 months, traveling to southern India for my most ambitious bilingual project THALAIVI, need your blessings in these testing times of a pandemic.

Talking about this film, Kangana had earlier said “Jayalalithaa ji is one of the biggest female success stories of this century. She was a superstar and went on to become an iconic politician,it’s a great concept for mainstream film. I am honoured to be a part of this mega project.

Thalaivi’ is directed by AL Vijay and the makers plan to release it in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu language. The movie was supposed to release in June this year but the shooting was left incomplete due to the pandemic.
