After the success of Tanhaji, Om Raut’s next, ‘Adipurush’ starring South Superstar Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan, is highly anticipated.
The magnum opus is reportedly a modern-day retelling of the Ramayana, and it promises to be a lavish spectacle with a MAMMOTH budget!
As per Pinkvilla report, this Om Raut directorial reportedly has a mega-budget of whopping Rs 400 crores.
A source revealed, “While many are slashing down budgets and cost of production, Om and Bhushan are dreaming big with Adipurush. It will be the biggest Indian film to release in theatres post-Covid-19. It will have a lot of VFX work involved and a technique never seen before in Indian films. They are planning to mount it on a lavish scale and a whopping budget of Rs 350-400 crore is set just for the shoot and production of Adipurush.”
Prabhas will be essaying the protagonist, Lord Ram, while Saif Ali Khan has been locked down as the antagonist, Lankesh (Ravan).
And as per recent reports, Ajay Devgn might be playing Lord Shiva in the movie.
