There were initial reports that Shahid Kapoor in is a 100 crore deal with the leading OTT platform, Netflix.
However, it turns out that Shahid Kapoor was actually in talks with Amazon Prime.
The latest unofficial report says that Amazon has signed a deal of 60 crores with Shahid and not 100 crores, which was an amount inflated by interested parties. His deal with Amazon is around 55-60 crores for 5 films.
The deal starts with Raj-DK’s web series which the duo will direct after they finish Family Man 2.
This deal with keep Shahid Kapoor busy for the next two years.
