On Monday, the Narcotics Control Bureau had raided Arjun Rampal’s residence in Capri Heights, Bandra.
The Ra One Actor and his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades have both been summoned for investigation after officials found two ‘banned tablets’.
As per TOI report, NCB official Sameer Wankhede confirmed – “We conducted search and found medicines that fall under the NDPS act. We have summoned Arjun Rampal and his girlfriend Gabriella to the NCB on November 11 and November 12.”
Another TOI report states that Arjun reportedly has a doctor’s prescription for the tablets.
“Let Rampal prove it,’’ an official said.
The anti-drugs agency has also seized Rampal’s laptops, mobile phone, tablets and certain documents, and they’ve also questioned his driver.
Earlier, Arjun’s girlfriend’s brother, Agisilaos Demetriades, had been nabbed by the NCB. They stated that Demetriades was part of a larger drug syndicate operating in Bollywood. He is allegedly a drug supplier to drug peddlers who were said to be in contact with Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty.
