A new boycott trend has taken over Twitter again. This time it is against Ranveer Singh. Here’s why…
Ranveer Singh’s latest ‘Bingo! Mad Angles’ chips ad didn’t go well with the Sushant Singh Rajput fans. According to the SSR fans, the ‘Simmba’ actor “mocked” the late actor by talking about Science.
In the latest ad, Ranveer is asked a question: “Beta, aage Kya Plan Hai?” To which Singh’s character responds by talking about paradoxical photons, algorithms, and aliens.
However, as soon as the ad went live, netizens took social media to criticize it and later started the #BoycottBingo trend. The ‘SSR Warriors’ believed that this ad is a taunt at the actor’s love for Physics.
One fan tweeted, “See how Ranveer Singh and bingo together make fun of SSR. Their tagline should be “Brand of India but not pride of India” #BoycottBingo.”

Meanwhile, the brand didn’t take the ad down and the comment box has been turned off on their official YouTube page.
While the brand decided to hide the numbers of likes and dislikes, the ad is continuing to feature on their official page with over 1,50,000 views.
