However, this interesting role too was first offered to Shah Rukh Khan who unfortunately had issues with the date. At that time, Shah Rukh himself was completing a film with Ek Tha Tiger’s heroine – Katrina Kaif. The two were shooting for Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

The role of Jolly was first offered to Shah Rukh in the year 2012 but the actor had to decline as he was already shooting for two other films under YRF.
