A few days ago, Shah Rukh Khan was spotted at Yash Raj Studios for ‘Pathan’ shoot and the social media went crazy at the news.
While King Khan is finally back in action, his leading lady for the movie is not far off. Deepika Padukone has also joined Pathan’s sets for a couple of scenes.
Padukone is juggling Shakun Batra’s next as well, so she will resume Pathan’s filming properly in mid-December. She’s going to be seen in a badass, agent avatar alongside SRK.
A source informed Mumbai Mirror – “It’s an intriguing world of agents and Deepika will get to do a lot of action too. Though the title is SRK-centric, Deepika plays an edgy character, who joins Pathan on a mission. It’s on the lines of what Katrina was to Salman Khan’s Tiger in the Tiger franchise.”
The antagonist John Abraham will also join SRK and Padukone soon in a few days. A major chunk of this Siddharth Anand directorial will be shot from January to June 2021, and some action scenes will also be wrapped up abroad.
A TOI report confirms that Abu Dhabi has been locked in as the next location for the 2nd schedule of the movie! The trio will jet off to Abu Dhabi in the 1st week of January itself.
Another interesting piece of news is that – YRF is creating a special agents universe comprising of Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone.
Salman will be making a cameo in Pathan as Tiger, while SRK will have a special appearance as Pathan in Tiger 3. And later, Tiger and Pathan both may join Kabir aka Hrithik Roshan in the War sequel.
