Determined to not be typecasted, Kartik Aryan will be seen in a serious avatar in Ram Madhvani’s ‘Dhamaka’ next.
However, the handsome hunk isn’t straying away from the comedy genre for long. He has also come on board for a social comedy project as well.
Titled ‘Freddy’, this upcoming comedy will feature Kartik in a never-before avatar. Directed by Ajay Bahl, Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies will be backing the project.
Ajay Bahl who has made films on bold, unexplored themes in BA Pass and Section 375, has a very unusual role for Kartik.
As per reported by Bollywood Hungama source – “In Freddy, Kartik will play a character unlike any he has played so far. Ajay wanted someone with a sense of mischief and mystery. Kartik fitted the bill.”
Kartik will first finish shooting Ram Madhvani ‘Dhamaka’, then complete Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and Dostana 2. Then he will move on to Ajay Behl’s film which goes on floors in June 2021.
