It’s Richa Chadha vs Pankaj Tripathi in the biopic on the controversial, South adult film star – ‘Shakeela’.
While Richa essays the titular role of Shakeela, Pankaj will be playing a South Indian Superstar threatened by her success.

The trailer gives a shocking glimpse into the real-life story of the adult film actress. Born in a conservative Muslim family, Shakeela began her career at 16. She had appeared in about 250 films, most of them softcore, which made her a major sex symbol in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Directed by Indrajit Lankesh, Shakeela will hit the theatres on December 25, 2020. It will be released in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, in over 1000 screens.
